1993 Nissan Skyline Private Sale

SKYLINE

GTS25TYPE S
ECR32RB25DE 5-SPEED AUTORWD

The R32 everyone recognizes, in a spec you rarely see stateside. Naturally aspirated RB25DE straight-six, rear-wheel drive, and an easy-cruising five-speed automatic — the icon without the turbo upkeep.

WHY THIS SPEC IS UNCOMMON

The GTS25 wasn't in the original R32 lineup — Nissan added it in 1991 with a then-new 2.5L DOHC six, so it only ran the last stretch of R32 production. It was the most powerful naturally aspirated Skyline in the range, and one of the first Japanese production cars offered with a five-speed automatic.

Rare spec. This specific GTS25 only ran the last two years of R32 production, and almost none were imported. Hard to find a near mint, virtually no rust ’93 R32 coupe with a RB25DE.

Nissan never published grade-by-grade build numbers for non-GT-R R32s, so I can't give you a production figure — I'd rather not quote one I can't back up. What I can say is what the market shows: they hardly ever come up for sale here.

IMPORT & TITLE

Imported from Japan under the 25-year rule — fully federal-legal in all 50 states. Complete customs and Japanese export paperwork in hand; Texas title in process.

CONDITION

No significant rust — solid sills, floors, and structure. A few pinpoint age spots at trim seams, nothing more. More underside photos available on request.

Straight panels with glossy silver paint — presents very clean inside and out. A few age-appropriate chips and scuffs; detailed photos of every one available on request.

Original cloth interior in strong shape — seats, headliner, and door cards all clean with minimal wear.

Garage-kept since arriving stateside.

SERVICE

Timing belt replaced February 2020 at 106,751 km — documented on the factory service sticker, only ~6,600 km ago.

Landed stateside July 2026 and running. A full inspection and service check is being scheduled, with findings available to serious buyers.

Tasteful modifications: ZEES Project exhaust, pod-style intake filter, and an aftermarket head unit — otherwise close to stock, see below. Japanese ETC toll unit still fitted, a nice piece of its JDM history.

ADDED BY A PREVIOUS OWNER

A few pieces on this car came from a GT-R rather than the factory GTS25 parts bin, fitted before I bought it. Calling them out so there are no surprises:

  • GT-R steering wheel
  • GT-R master key
  • “GTS25t” trunk badge — an R33 badge, not correct for this car. Being removed.

This is a genuine ECR32 GTS25 Type S — chassis, engine, and build plate all match. Nothing structural was changed, only trim.
